Project Goal
The project aimed at improving the capacity of extension workers to deliver knowledge on integrated soil fertility management (ISFM) practices to smallholder farmers.
Project Objectives
Building the capacity of extension trainees in integrated soil health management practices based on modular outreach training system.
Disseminating integrated soil fertility management practices information to small holder farmers through innovative and interactive ICT-based approaches (radio, mobile phones).
Linking farmers/farmer organizations on farm input and output markets (agro-dealers and buyers) through ICT-based market information services.
Project Achievements
- 24,000 Smallholder farmers and Extension workers reached (15,000 Male and 9,000 Female)
